Ashworth College is a for-profit higher education institution offering distance education programs. Offering over 115 career-relevant, flexible and affordable online programs, it has an enrollment of more than 50,000 students now, and they range from working adults, members of U>S> Speedskating, to military and military spouses.
The college wad established in 1987 by the Professional Career Development Institute, with the purpose of helping whose who need a flexible access to college education. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Ashworth College is not so selective in admission. Undergraduate students just need to have an accredited high school diploma or G.E.D. For homeschooled students, a portfolio is required.
COSTS AND FINANCIAL AID
As a college providing distance learning programs, there is no multi-million dollar campus, brand uniforms or football stadiums to pay for. It may cost up to 50 percent less in Ashworth than in a traditional college. Tuitions and fees vary according to different programs.
