OVERVIEW
Saddleback College, often referred to as Saddleback, is a community college in the United States. As the oldest and southern-most institution governed by the South Orange County Community College District, it awards associate’s degrees and academic certificates with more than 100 programs. As part of the California Community College system, it has about 41,126 students at present.
The college was founded in 1968. With rich academic traditions and strong reputation, it has made itself an ideal place for students seeking certificate and associate degrees, transferring to four-year colleges or universities, or pursuing life-long learning opportunities. Its campus is located in Mission Viejo, Orange County, California, housing a range of academic and residential buildings and facilities.

ACCREDITATION
Saddleback College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), the branch of Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission to Saddleback College is open to anyone with high school diploma or has a high school equivalency certificate or is over 18 years old and shows evidence of capability to benefit from instruction.
